Out of office message not updating
If you set your Oo OA to be turned on and off at a scheduled time, the Lync features will be activated when the start time passes.
The problem I had was that even when the end time had passed and Outlook’s feature had been turned off automatically, Lync’s feature remained on.
Also, Outlook will not automatically reply to a sender with two different messages.
Using Outlook 2013 and Windows 8 or 8.1 connected to exchange 2007 server, I am getting Your automatic reply settings cannot be displayed because the server is currently unavailable. I tried some of the fixes online such as deleting credentials from user accounts and another fix suggested it was a proxy server issue, but we don't use a proxy.
I’m out of the office and will be back at (Date of Return).
During this period I will have limited access to my email.
if you are using Outlook 2010/2013/2016 and have not Classic Menu for Office, please click the File tab on the top-left and select "Save As". It is also fit for Outlook 2010/2013/2016 (with Classic Menu for Office installed).Leaving it behind on a big, bulky computer is the hard and often the sane thing to do.If you crave sanity, Outlook's here to help: while you take a vacation from the daily deluge of email, Outlook will respond to incoming messages—automatically, taking that burden off your shoulders, even after you return. These tools usually are also smart about sending only necessary out of office auto-replies.Do take into account that Outlook itself will only send an auto-reply to each address once per session; a second auto-response may only be sent after Outlook is closed and re-opened.
